Zoom LJ Digital: The Literary Journalism department at UC Irvine is getting the year started off with a bang! As usual, UCI will be host to a number of authors, writers, editors, and journalists throughout the year and here’s the beginning of it.  Event: Big Points/Small Word Counts: On The Craft of Op-Eds and Editorials.  Date: Thursday, October 4, 2012 Guest Speakers: Nicholas Goldberg (Los Angeles Times, Editor, Editorial Page) and Sue Horton (Los Angeles Times, Editor, Op-Ed and Sunday Opinion)  This is an OPEN event! So feel free to stop by even if you aren’t majoring in Literary Journalism. We would love to see as many people there as possible! This is an excellent opportunity so please do not miss out!
