The position is for a ‘Clinical Research Communications Intern’ and it’s for an unpaid internship position at UC Irvine’s Dermatology Department
Here is the job description:
The Research Communications Intern will:
• Assist with patient recruitment for studies
• Effectively utilize mass forms of communication - website, emails, newsletters, brochures, flyers
• Inform community about clinical trials - what it involves, who can participate, risks and benefits
• Facilitate website updates
• Photography experience is desired, but not required

Qualification:
The ideal candidate must have the following:
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
• Knowledge of common social media sites 
• Ability to understand and follow basic scientific research protocol and procedure
• Highly proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), email, internet, photoshop, indesign
• Advanced understanding of data management processes
• Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data and skilled in the use of computerized systems and databases
